During the Courier's visit to the fireworks barge in English Bay, Team Vietnam was setting up for Saturday's opening show. Brazil takes the stage Aug. 1, followed by Italy Aug. 4. This is the first time any of these countries have competed in the annual fireworks festival in Vancouver, the largest offshore international competition in the world.
