We'll be honest-modern dance confuses us. And the press photos for Another You, a new "dynamic work" by Germany's Cocoon Dance and Vancouver's Co. ERASGA Dance, only compounds that confusion. So how about we let the producers of this event describe what's going on. Choreographed by Swiss/German Rafa‰le Giovanola with dancers Viviana Escale and Volkhard Samuel Guist, "all games have been played, all possibilities considered, and now conflicts just provoke the usual contradictions. Thus, they once again try out a new, outlandish game, and declare themselves to be an experiment." Much better. See for yourself April 28 to 29 at the Scotiabank Dance Centre. For tickets call 604-684-2787 or go to ticketstonight.ca. Info: companyerasgadance.ca.
