The Vancouver International Fringe Festival continues its merry ways until Sept. 16. (Watch for reviews in next Wednesday’s edition of the Courier). Among the dozens of shows at the festival, Staircase XI Theatre Society presents Home Free! by American playwright Lanford Hughes at Granville Island’s Carousel Theatre. The “evocative, dark comedy” follows a brother and sister, living as a married couple, who are faced with a problem they’re unable to navigate. No kidding. More info at vancouverfringe.com.
