Sea to Sky Gondola hosting Canada 150 events

In the lead-up to Canada's150th birthday July 1, the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish is offering several Canadian-themed activities and deals. Here are the top five suggestions for a truly Canadian experience at the top of a mountain.

In the lead-up to Canada's150th birthday July 1, the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish is offering several Canadian-themed activities and deals. Here are the top five suggestions for a truly Canadian experience at the top of a mountain. Note: Not all of the details are finalized, but we’ll be updating the vancourier.com site as they are, so make sure to check back here for more information.  

 

Canada 150 Bingo Scavenger Hunt

See if you can spot the Canadian icons on the Spirit Trail. Once your bingo card is complete, take your card to guest services for a treat and chance to win an annual pass or Canada 150 gift from the retail store.
How: Pick up your bingo card at guest services during your next visit.

Sunday Social Toonie food deals

Enjoy $2 medium pancakes, hot chocolate, drip coffee and tea through the Summit Lodge Eatery on Sundays.
How: Visit during Sunday Socials.
Dates: Every Sunday until March 12, 2017.

 

Official Canada 150 Gear

The Sea to Sky Gondola is an official retailer for Canada 150 products. Pick these limited-edition items up as gifts for family and friends or replace your pass lanyard with a colourful Canada 150 version. Pass holders receive 20 per cent off most items in the retail store. 
How: Visit the retail stores at the base and summit. Both stores offer different items.

Mountaintop "Street" Hockey Tournament

Sign up your team of four players and fight for glory in a weekly hockey tournament that ends with awards on Canada Day.

Jam out to Canadian Classics

Imagine a summer night with you and your friends dancing and singing to the best of Canadian music while you watch the sunset on the Summit Lodge patio.
How: First-come, first-served. Once the date is announced, organize your friends and get yourself to the summit. Hike up, buy a discounted day ticket online or bring your season pass.
