Tickets to the 2013 Super Bowl fetched $250,000 while tickets to the Grammy Awards garnered $260,000! The spectacular soiree, which also featured spoken word artist Shayne Koyczan, generated over $1 million for the company's opera in the schools program.

Promoting his new book, Stories I Only Tell My Friends, the 48-year-old spoke candidly of his alcohol addiction and rehabilitation. Proceeds from the Courier-sponsored affair will support the non-profit's efforts to raise awareness of addiction and help individuals stop using drugs and alcohol in a safe and supportive environment.
