The first BC Ferries runs of the day between Comox (6:15 am) and Powell River (8:05 am) on February 11 have been cancelled due to a mechanical issue.
Salish Orca is holding in the dock at Little River Terminal.
The ship is experiencing a problem with its power management computer system.
The next scheduled sailing from Comox is 9:55 am, with a return from Westview Terminal in Powell River scheduled at 11:50 am. At 7:45 am, BC Ferries announced Salish Orca will be ready for those departures.
