Royal Canadian Theatre Company offers a "Young Teens' Summer Acting Camp" at Newton Cultural Centre, 13530 72nd Ave., Surrey.

The camp is for kids age 12 to 15, running Monday, July 9 to Saturday, July 14, daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"This camp is geared toward increasing confidence, supplying fun physical activity, building creativity, developing team spirit and responsibility, and who knows - maybe we'll find a new star!" said Ellie King, the theatre company's managing artistic director.

"Have a great time and make new friends while rehearsing a fun play to present to family and friends on the final day of camp, (which is) suitable for all levels of experience."
