Pacific Post Partum Support Society has launched a new website designed to help women deal with the sadness and anxiety that can accompany the birth of a new baby. The Postpartum Journey highlights real stories from women who have experienced depression and anxiety during pregnancy or after the birth of their baby. The Journey also includes links to fact sheets, handouts and resources for women who may be suffering from postpartum depression or would like to learn more about it. The new tool was developed by the society in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health, Provincial Health Services Authority and Providence Health Care. For more information, go to postpartum.org.
