Vancouver begins annual Cherry Blossom Festival

 

 
 
 
 
Vancouver launched the Cherry Blossom Festival at the Burrard Skytrain Plaza Thursday afternoon. There were blindfolded sushi demonstrations from Masahiro Omori of Shuraku Sake Bar & Bistro, Taiko drumming from Shinobu Homma and watercolour painter Alfonso Tejada creating works of art.
