A pop-up Lego bar is coming to Vancouver — no kids allowed

Playing with Lego while drinking beer might be something you’ve spent the weekend doing in the company of children, but this spring it’s going to be an option at a one-of-a-kind grown-ups only bar.

Playing with Lego while drinking beer might be something you’ve spent the weekend doing in the company of children, but this spring it’s going to be an option at a one-of-a-kind grown-ups only bar.

Legobar, a touring pop-up drinking and Lego-ing bar experience, will be in four Canadian cities, including Vancouver, this May and June.

Made of a million bricks, this not-affiliated-with-Lego-itself moveable bar will “feature sculptures made completely from lego bricks as well as an abundance of blocks for people to shape into their own creations,” according to their e-mail alert and website.

Plus, they will have live DJs spinning music, and, based on their provided images of beer mugs full of Lego, beer.

Legobar will be a ticketed event, and organizers are asking prospective guests to sign up via their website for the advance registration for access to tickets.

In addition to visiting Vancouver, Legobar will touch down in Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal, as well as in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Brisbane in Australia, London, and Los Angeles and New York.
