Doing a little bit of good is never easier than on the day Dining Out for Life takes place. That’s when restaurants in Metro Vancouver and all around B.C. donate 25 per cent of their food sales to the non-profit organization A Loving Spoonful.

Dining Out for Life takes place on March 22, and just by eating out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at a participating restaurant, you are helping out individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS and co-existing illnesses.

Now in its 24th year, DOFL has raised to date over $3.5 million. Those funds go right into programs and services provided by A Loving Spoonful, and include nutritional counselling and meal delivery for people affected by HIV/AIDS and a host of other related illnesses and medical conditions.

There are numerous Metro Vancouver restaurants participating, so chances are you’ll easily be able to make your way to one on March 22. There’s Pourhouse, Timber, Oddfish, The Union, Fable, Nook, Maenam, Burgoo, Ask For Luigi, Joe Fortes, Las Margaritas, Big Rock, Wildebeest, Forage, The Reef, and many, many more. A full list of 2018 partner restaurants is available online here.
