Die-hard chocoholics, this one’s for you: Vancouver’s Lovebirds can enjoy a decadent Valentine’s Day dessert feast inside a real-life chocolate “cave.”

Once again, Notch8 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver will be transforming their private dining room into a full-on immersive chocolate experience. Okay, you won’t be able to immerse yourself in the sweet stuff, but they will have floor-to-ceiling chocolate walls they construct themselves to surround you like your very own candy coating.

You’ll be eating your fill from a buffet boasting over 25 different chocolate desserts created by their in-house pastry shop, including Notch8’s #OMG dark chocolate hazelnut cake, s’mores chocolate chip pizza, black forest verrine, and chocolate chip cookie sandwich.

And, of course there will be a chocolate fountain with plenty of delicious things for dipping. Your chocolate escape kicks off with a glass of bubbly.

This is the third year the sweet minds at work at Notch8 have done the chocolate cave, and always, they do discourage guests from going the full Willy Wonka and trying to lick the walls.

The Valentine’s Day Chocolate Cave buffet is available on Feb. 14 from 8:30-11 p.m., for $70 per couple plus taxes and gratuity. Call for reservations.
