The Vancouver Thunderbirds bantam hockey team soaked up everything former Vancouver Canuck captain Trevor Linden had to say Thursday afternoon at Thunderbird Arena.

Linden, who wore No. 16 and played 16 seasons with the Canucks from 1988-89 to 97-98 and then from 01-02 to 07-08, dropped in to skate with the Thunderbirds.

The surprise training session was sponsored by Scotiabank and the bantam team also received a private suite March 28 to watch the Vancouver Canucks host the Colorado Avalanche.
