COQUITLAM - Customers and employees of Kirmac Collision enjoyed some barbecue fixings and good community spirit to mark the results of Kirmac Cares for Kids program last month.
Members of the community and Kirmac Collision celebrated this year's donation of $152,041, which was raised through a percentage of work that the Coquitlam-based autobody shop performed. The funds were presented last week during the 25th annual B.C. Children's Hospital Miracle Weekend.
A year ago, they handed over $120,000.
People who had their vehicles repaired at Kirmac Collision were able to turn an unfortunate auto accident into an enriching opportunity to help provide world-class health care for children and their families in B.C. at Children's Hospital.
