Edith Cavell elementary school stepped up its participation in the Terry Fox National School Run Day fundraising drive by challenging the school community to raise $10,000. After the goal was met and exceeded for a total of $11,948, the principal and four of the teachers agreed to shave their heads. The shaving was followed by a run around Douglas Park by the entire school.
