While traditional print media continues to "evolve" or cling to life support, depending how you look at it, at least it makes good fodder for art, whether it's novels such as Tom Rachman's The Imperfectionists or documentaries like Page One: Inside the New York Times. You can add photography to that list with Brian Howell's new photo exhibit, Press. Howell, whose brother Mike is a reporter at the Vancouver Courier, visited newspaper printing plants across North America for a series of large scale images that offer a revealing look into an industry that's either on the precipice of great change or in the midst of its rapid demise. I sure hope there's free booze at this thing. The exhibit runs Feb. 28 to April 6 at Winsor Gallery (258 East First Ave.). For more info, go to winsorgallery.com.
