We just learned that from June 1 until the end of August 2018 our BC Was Awesome history show will be part of the programming on Air Canada’s In Flight entertainment!
All 12 episodes from Season 2 will be available on all routes that they fly: the USA, Canada, and international.
If you’re not familiar, the show takes viewers around British Columbia, digging up offbeat stories from the past. It tells weird and wonderful history tales while showcasing the beauty of B.C.’s towns in the present day.
Our production team works extremely hard to produce a fun and informative show, spending months producing and researching, then we hit the road and film interviews, bringing back video and sound to the team that edits, does sound design and animation. We travel with a crew of five people, with five more who work on the show in post-production.
The show is funded by Storyhive and also gets support from Creative BC. We’ve released 22 episodes and have five more that are in post-production right now, coming out in the next few months. Beyond those we’re hoping to do a third season.
