Three is the magic number in design.
And now, apparently, the City of Port Moody knows it.
On April 1 it announced it was changing its logo — by putting in a third sailboat and slightly darkening the blue.
“Addition of 3rd sailboat gives city a new visual identity that’s in line with the times,” the City of Port Moody tweeted on April 1.
Could this, by chance, be a dig at the Great Vancouver Logo Debate on the day when having fun at someone’s expense is not only allowed but officially sanctioned?
