Our mayor's column has the same tone as a televangelist. Believe in me and you'll be saved. He offered no details and no substance. There was no mention of implementing green technologies like toilet-totap being used in some parts of California. Nor garbage incineration successfully used in Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. The mayor claims fossil fuel needs are dropping via city wide focus. Hard to believe given that the VPD aren't driving hybrid sedans and neither garbage collection nor fire fighting is performed by biodiesel powered trucks.
New rebates for clean cars
The provincial government has announced new incentives to help drivers go green:
