A worker was injured on a building on West 5th between Alberta and Yukon streets Friday afternoon.
He was a member of a crew cleaning windows and the exterior of a building at 375 West 5th.
The workers were standing on top of a neighbouring single-storey building and had just finished cleaning an exterior wall when the incident took place.
As a ladder was being lowered, it fell and hit the man on the head, according to a witness who did not want to provide his name.
Firefighters helped get the man down from the building and he has been transported to hospital.
