Vancouver police looking for man after serious assault

Vancouver police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a man suspected in a St. Patrick’s Day assault. Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 25-year-old Thomas Joseph Lloyd Brown.

Vancouver police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a man suspected in a St. Patrick’s Day assault.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 25-year-old Thomas Joseph Lloyd Brown. On March 17, Brown went to a family gathering near Stautlo Avenue and Crown Street on Musqueam territory in south Vancouver. According to a police press release, just after 10 p.m. Brown was involved in an altercation with another man and allegedly stabbed him.

The man sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Brown is now wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.

He is described as Aboriginal, 5’9” tall and weighing 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has several tattoos, including the initials “RA” tattooed on his left forearm, “WS” on his right forearm, “TB” on his right hand and “Life” on his left hand fingers.

Police advise members of the public not to approach Brown and it call 911 if you see him.

Anyone with information about Brown’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477.
