Vancouver's newest hotel is going on a hiring spree.
Parq Vancouver is hosting four job fairs this summer to fill more than 1,000 new positions.
It's hiring people in each of its divisions including the casino, 329-room JW Marriott hotel, 188-room luxury Douglas (Autograph Collection) hotel, and eight restaurant and lounge concepts conceived by two-time James Beard Award-nominated restaurateur Elizabeth Blau and her husband, Canada native Chef Kim Canteenwalla.
There are openings for all levels of experience, from entry-level to executives.
The hotels, which are expected to open this fall next to BC Place, also feature a sixth floor 30,000-square-foot park,Vancouver's biggest hotel ballroom and nearly 62,000 square feet of meeting, conference and event space.
Job fairs will be held at BC Place, Gate H on the following dates and times:
Wednesday, June 21
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, July 15
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday, July 17
12 to 5 p.m.
Wednesday, August 2
1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
