It’s time for “Stick in Link”, the feature where we just plug in a bunch of stuff written by others! Featuring a smattering of links from around the Smylosphere and beyond every Tuesday and Thursday. Warning: our links are so hyper, they change colour when exposed to heat. (Have something for us to share in the next edition? E-mail us at passittobulis@gmail.com or tweet us @passittobulis. Or tell us some other way. The point is: we'll probably link it if we know about it.)

  • These weirdos had a Bo Horvat-themed bachelor party. It should have been a Sedin-themed bachelor party. Why? Because for a pocketful of loonies and toonies, the Sedins would have shown up. [Canucks
  • On the radio today, Jason Botchford said the Canucks might prefer Kris Russell to Dan Hamhuis. If this is true, there are no words. At the deadline, when Dallas chose Russell over Hamhuis, many said it was a colossal mistake. In the playoffs, when the Blues exploited Russell's weaknesses to get a leg up on the Stars, critics of the deal were validated. So if, after seeing all of that, the Canucks choose Russell over Hamhuis, I'm going to have an even harder time believing this regime has any clue what they're doing. [TSN 1040]
  • And Ed Willes isn't helping my rage subside at all: "The challenge before the organization is finding one upgrade at that position, someone who can play as a fourth or fifth D-man. There aren't a lot of big names in this summer's UFA class but Kris Russell fits that mould and he has a history with Willie Desjardins." Dammit, you guys. No. If the Canucks really want a frustratingly mediocre defender who can occasionally skate real fast, Matt Bartkowski is cheaper, and fans are already used to being disappointed by him. • Meanwhile, Jeff Paterson thinks the Canucks should go after Troy Brouwer. [Vancouver Sun]

  • Utica Comets coach Travis Green has been mentioned in connectioned with several of the NHL's recent coaching vacancies. Vancouver could lose him. So: How important is he to the organization? [Last Word on Sports]
  • Who will be the highest-scoring non-Sedins for the Canucks next year? [The Canuck Way]
  • The trial of Linden Vey's father, who , along with his lover, allegedly plotted to kill their spouses, is set to begin today, and things have already gotten weird. [Vancouver Sun]
  • Who should the Canucks draft with the fifth pick? This guy says Pierre-Luc Dubois or trade it away. [The Hockey Writers]
  • You should probably check out this Redditor's Canuck-themed parody of Drake's "One Dance". The lines are there. We just need a fresh emcee to bring this to life. If you're the freshest emcee, let me know. [Reddit]
  • Finally, here's Chris Tanev on winning a gold medal at the Worlds.
