At the deadline, when Dallas chose Russell over Hamhuis, many said it was a colossal mistake. In the playoffs, when the Blues exploited Russell's weaknesses to get a leg up on the Stars, critics of the deal were validated. So if, after seeing all of that, the Canucks choose Russell over Hamhuis, I'm going to have an even harder time believing this regime has any clue what they're doing. [TSN 1040]
