It’s time for “Stick in Link”, the feature where we just plug in a bunch of stuff written by others! Featuring a smattering of links from around the Smylosphere and beyond every Tuesday and Thursday.

It’s time for “Stick in Link”, the feature where we just plug in a bunch of stuff written by others! Featuring a smattering of links from around the Smylosphere and beyond every Tuesday and Thursday. Warning: our links are so hyper, they change colour when exposed to heat. (Have something for us to share in the next edition? E-mail us at passittobulis@gmail.com or tweet us @passittobulis. Or tell us some other way. The point is: we'll probably link it if we know about it.)

  • Carol Schram chats with Jannik Hansen at the World Championships, where his national team, Denmark, has made it through the prelims. Hansen has a lot of positive things to say about Nicklas Jensen, who is no longer a Canuck, so I wish he'd cut it out with the praise. It's just kind of depressing now. [Canucks Army]
  • Speaking of Hansen, he makes Jason Botchford's list of three Canucks that could be on the trade block. I hope the Canucks keep him, personally, but only because I don't want to see Hansen, who rules, flipped for yet another reclamation project. But Hansen's been on the trade block for awhile now, which means he's still Janny from the block. [The Province]
  • Plus Hansen made this list of three Canucks who could lead the offence for Vancouver next season. [The Hockey Writers]
  • Ben Hutton is always so flippin' positive. Consider this quote: “I didn’t get any ice time last game, but that’s all right. Still bring a positive attitude to the rink. If my name gets call, I’ll be ready to go." Crazy. Other guys would have demanded a trade to Team Norway by now. [National Post]
  • That said, Hutton is still human. He wants to play, and he sounds a little more perturbed about it on his personal blog: "It’s pretty tough being the odd man out for Team Canada right now. The team brought in Ryan Ellis after the Predators were knocked out and he knocked me out of the line-up last game, a 4-0 loss to Finland. It’s a double-edged sword. It’s a good experience to be here, but I want to be in the line-up and playing, making an impact. It is what it is. I have no hard feelings against Ellis or anyone else, I’m trying to keep myself positive and ready if the team needs me." [Canucks]
  • Meet Kelsy, a diehard Canucks supporter. Nothing can shake her fandom, except for when the Canucks trade her favourite players away. [Nuck Said]
  • Should the Canucks re-sign Dan Hamhuis? I'm gonna guess Kelsy would say yes. I'd say yes, too. But what does J.D. Burke say? [Canucks Army]
  • The Canucks pop up a couple times in Elliotte Friedman's latest 30 Thoughts. Friedman discusses the Tallon-to-Vancouver rumours, as well as another free agent the team is courting: "Czech defender Michal Kempny has some outstanding possession numbers. Buffalo, Chicago and Vancouver are among his most serious pursuers." [Sportsnet]
  • A Harvard sleep doctor suggested the Bruins take naps before Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, which is obviously why the Canucks lost. If only Vancouver had taken naps before the game, instead of during it. [Vancity Buzz]
  • Five reasons unrestricted free agents will choose Vancouver, but I would add a sixth: based on past contracts, Jim Benning is likely to overpay them. [The Canuck Way]
  • Finally, here's a video tracking every point Bo Horvat scored last season:
