In exchange for a charitable donation or volunteer hours, Vancouver sports teams can invite a professional photographer to their sidelines and see their pin-up athleticism on film.
The exchange is spear-headed by U.S.-based Sports and Social Change, which selected the Lower Mainland as the first location in North America for the grassroots sports project.
“Our goal is simply to foster the experience of helping others, which will hopefully inspire the team members to participate in more community engagement activities where sports is used as a platform for social change,” said the organization’s founder, Howard Brodwin in a statement.
