The Vancouver Racquets Club hosted the 2013 Canadian Team Masters Championships on the weekend, drawing some of the country’s top squash talent to their courts near Hillcrest.

Team B.C. 1 lost to Team Ontario in the final, which was a best-of-seven series between the two provinces.

In a deciding men’s match, Ontario’s David Sly beat BC’s Barry Gibson in entertaining and competitive five sets. B.C. lost the series 3-4 to Ontario.

Alberta finished third overall and the second team from B.C. surprised the field with a fourth-place finish. Must have been the home-court advantage.
