Bike lane police collect tolls

Dear Editor,

TransLink has $500,000 for a bike lane in Vancouver, but no money for transit services South of the Fraser. Once again, taxpayers South of the Fraser subsidize an improved "transportation system" (i.e. bike lane) in Vancouver.

With infrastructure such as Golden Ears Bridge and Port Mann Bridge being tolled because they are "new," would it not be appropriate to toll the "new" bike lanes?

Then (excuse my sarcasm) they could hire Bike Lane Police who would earn huge overtime salaries if they get called in as the result of poor scheduling.
