Colin Plant will chair the board of the Capital Regional District for another year.
The Saanich councillor was acclaimed to a second one-year term at a board meeting Wednesday. Plant will oversee a 24-member board made up of mayors and councillors appointed by their municipal councils, as well as elected directors from Salt Spring Island, southern Gulf Islands and Juan de Fuca electoral areas.
Langford Coun. Denise Blackwell will chair the board of the Capital Regional Hospital District, while Victoria Mayor Lisa Helps will head the Capital Region Housing Corp. board.
