A 46-year-old man is dead and a 34-year-old woman is being investigated for impaired driving causing death after a single-vehicle crash early Thursday in Duncan.
The man died as preparations were being made to transport him to hospital via air ambulance.
North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP attended the crash on Miller Road about 12:10 a.m.
Police said the Cowichan Valley residents were the only two occupants of the vehicle.
