West Shore RCMP remained at the scene of an unspecified incident on Station Avenue Tuesday evening.
They arrived just after 5 p.m. and proceeded to block off surrounding streets including Peatt Road, Orono Avenue, Meaford Avenue and Phipps Road at Revilo Place.
Residents were advised to stay inside and the public was asked to stay away.
