Two people were transported to hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Inland Island Highway early Saturday morning.
B.C. Emergency Health Services dispatched a helicopter and ground ambulance to the scene on the highway at Horne Lake Road, after receiving a call at 3:06 a.m.
The condition of the two patients is unknown.
The highway was closed from Horne Lake Road to Corcan Road while emergency crews responded, according to a tweet by Drive B.C. Vancouver Island.
The highway reopened shortly after 5 a.m.
