The Delta Photo Club presents the second session of Introduction to Digital Photography in Two Parts on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Part two will focus on the artistic aspects of photography to create better images.

Long-time member and acclaimed photographer Francois Cleroux will discuss basic composition principles and the creative consequences of exposures using apertures and shutter speeds. Controlled motion blurs, in-camera movements, shallow depth of field, long exposures, extra-long exposures and other creative techniques will be explained or demonstrated.

There will be time for a question-and-answer session.

If time permits there will be a quick demonstration on how to import images into your computer and how to do some quick edits using Adobe Lightroom.

Pre-registration is not needed. Guests are welcome for $15, payable at the door. Class is free for members in good standing of the Delta Photo Club.

The presentation runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at KinVillage in Tsawwassen.
