Delta police, Delta fire and paramedics are on scene of a traffic incident at the intersection of Elliott Street and Arthur Drive.
In an email to the Optimist from Delta police, the incident involved a motorcyle and a car.
Police say injuries to the motorcyclist are serious, but not life-threatening.
"Delta police are asking drivers to use caution – as weather warms up we start seeing more motorcycles on our roads," said DPD. "Ensure you give extra space to motorcycles and pay attention to your surroundings."
The scene was cleared and opened up to normal traffic just after 1 p.m.
