Michael Kissinger is the city editor for the Vancouver Courier. He also shoots and edits videos for the newspaper’s website. Raised on the mean streets of Nanaimo, he received his Bachelor of Education from the University of Victoria, after which he endured a five-year stint as a substitute teacher, completed his Master of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia and entered the fun and exciting world of journalism.
