Calling all artists.

The Plaskett Gallery is seeking submissions for a curated exhibition in November, Love Out Loud – Images of Pride: Personal and Political.

The exhibition is planned to coincide with the 50th anniversary year of the Stonewall riots and the theatre’s Under the Rainbow series highlighting LGBTQ2+ stories and artists in 2019/20.

“Love Out Loud aims to remind us that Pride is an infinite, multifaceted experience and that every LGBTQ2+ person has the right to decide what Pride means to them,” says a write-up about the show. “In these times, it is as vital as ever that queer love does dare speak its name, and Love Out Loud will serve as a platform for artists to do just that.”

The deadline for submissions is Sept. 15.
