PechaKucha is returning to the city.

PechaKucha New West Vol. 25 is happening at Knox Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 7 at 7 p.m.

PechaKucha, which means “chit chat” in Japanese, is a presentation night that gives speakers a “20x20” framework – 20 slides, each for 20 seconds. Presenters can use their 400 seconds (that's six minutes and 40 seconds) to talk about whatever topic they’re passionate about.

Audience members can mix and mingle starting at 7 p.m., trying out some local craft beer and wine while chatting to neighbours. At 8 p.m., the formal presentations start, with 10 speakers in total and a short intermission halfway through.

Knox Presbyterian Church is at 403 East Columbia St., in Sapperton. For tickets ($10), see www.eventbrite.ca (search for Volume 25 PechaKucha New West).
