Just look at the photos attached to this blog and soak in the awfulness.
Imagine the kind of laziness and lack of respect it takes to park your vehicle like this and then walk away.
The photos were submitted by a NOW reader and it’s a Modo car-share vehicle on Larkin Court in North Burnaby.
“That’s OK, I’ll just walk to the curb” is one of my favourite movie lines from Annie Hall.
Yeah, you’d have a long walk to the curb on this one.
The vehicle is also crooked and butting into traffic. Oh, and in case you didn’t notice, it’s facing the WRONG DIRECTION!
It could be the worst parking job I’ve ever seen. It’s an all-timer.
Imagine being the kind of person who just stops their vehicle nearly in the middle of the street and thinks, “Yep, that’s good enough.”
I think one of the reasons is that it’s a car-sharing vehicle. I’ve heard over the years some car-share users casually tell me that they care less about the vehicle they are driving because it’s not their vehicle. They don’t mean to be like that, it’s just how it is.
I look at this parking job and think the driver could have been intoxicated, but who knows? Sure, perhaps there was an emergency, but I’ve driven in plenty of emergency situations and never once failed to properly park my vehicle.
Be better, people.
