A serious crash has blocked many of the eastbound lanes on Highway 1 through Burnaby this morning.
As of 9 a.m., crews are on scene trying to deal with injuries and towing away vehicles.
The incident is at the Gaglardi Way on ramp and the highway had debris from vehicles after the crash.
The HOV lane was still blocked at 9 a.m. and traffic is backed up for about a kilometre.
