Deer Lake Gallery is inviting everyone to drop by this weekend for another outdoor Live at the Gallery event.
The gallery has announced the next outing in its live performance series: a Saturday, Aug. 15 event running from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the gallery’s back deck.
The performance will feature music from Elena Percival, a classical violinist who has her bachelor’s degree from the University of Victoria and a master’s in music performance from the University of Houston in Texas. Also on the bill will be singer-guitarist John Murray with his covers of hits from the 1960s and 1970s.
Audience members are invited to drop by the back yard of the gallery and set up on the lawn overlooking Deer Lake Park – bring a picnic or sketchbook and enjoy the music.
Folks who attend are also reminded to continue to practise their COVID-19 safety measures, including keeping their physical distance from other attendees.
