The lotteries are on a roll when it comes to jackpots being claimed.

First, on Friday night, somebody won a whopping $32 million in the Lotto Max. Now, two people are set to split $5 million in the Lotto 649 – sadly, nobody in B.C. claimed either of these prizes.

Two winning tickets were sold for the $5 million jackpot in Saturday night's Lotto 649 draw. One was purchased in Ontario, the other in Quebec, and each is worth $2.5 million. The draw's guaranteed $1 million prize was claimed by a ticket holder in the Prairies. The jackpot for the next Lotto 649 draw on Oct. 23 will again be approximately $5 million.

A single ticket sold in Quebec claimed the $32 million jackpot in Friday night's Lotto Max draw. The jackpot for the next draw on Oct. 22 will be approximately $10 million.
