Delta throwback: Yesteryear's grocery stores (PHOTOS)

Let’s take another trip back to yesteryear and check just a few of Delta’s grocery stores that are now just a memory.

If you’re of a certain vintage, you may have shopped at some of them.

A 1924 Delta Archives photograph of the interior of McCurdy's Groceries and Ice Cream Parlour on Delta Street in Ladner. The counter and shelves have a variety of canned products including of McCormick's Jersey Cream Soda, which were soda biscuits.
