With the global theme for 2020-21, “Rotary Opens Opportunities,” Rotary Club of Ladner installed its new board of directors at a virtual ceremony on June 30.

The ceremony was officiated by the 2020-21 Rotary District 5040 governor for 50 of the clubs in B.C., Dave Hamilton, of the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen.

After the major setback for the entire community in recent months, Ladner Rotary, now in its 63rd year, is cautiously emerging from pandemic health restrictions to continue opening opportunities for the community and world.

Through projects such as Ladner Rotary Splash Park and then barbecue grills in Memorial Park for the enjoyment of families, making the Delta Hospital a more pleasant place to be, and improving the lives and enjoyment of children, youth and families, Ladner Rotary is building relationships with other organizations near and far.
