As the constable approached the vehicle he detected a faint odor of liquor emanating from the mouth area of the driver. With reasonable suspicion of alcohol consumption, the officer requested the driver perform a sobriety test. The driver was given two separate sobriety tests both of which resulted in “fail” readings. Consequentially, the officer gave the driver a 90-day driving suspension and had the vehicle towed where it was to be impounded for 30-days. The driver and passengers left the area with another friend.
