Saturday was a dog day afternoon at the Pets-N-Us outlet in Tsawwassen.
PB & Chi Dog Rescue Society, a registered charity that saves all breeds of dogs from the risk of being being put down, hosted an adoption event for prospective dog-owners to meet their new best friend. Photographer Jim Kinnear stopped by to snap some pooch pics.
The non-profits's mission is to save dogs from the risk of euthanasia in overcrowded shelters and other situations of neglect, and find them permanent homes in British Columbia and parts of Washington state. PB & Chi also provides an alternative to surrendering a dog to a local shelter by taking in unwanted animals when possible.
