Seaquam Seahawks completed a perfect season with a 42-6 championship game victory over Heritage Park on Tuesday in Burnaby.

It was a season of perfection in B.C. High School Football’s Grade 8, Nine-Man Conference for the Seaquam Seahawks.

The Sunshine Hills school capped a dominant run with a 42-6 championship game victory over Heritage Park on Tuesday in Burnaby. The win came on the heels of a 3-0-0 regular season that saw the Seahawks outscore their opponents by a 158-30 average. Their offensive production was a whopping 91 points better than their nearest rival.

The momentum continued in the post-season with a 46-12 win over Abbotsford Middle School to send them to the title game.

Daniel McGuire was named the game’s MVP. Kyrian Spencer-Douglas earned the top lineman award.

The rest of the Seaquam roster features: Balroop Kooner, Lucas Shannon, Ryder Kusch, Jack MacQuirie, Brennain Chow, Marcus Chow, Marcus Brenner, Mattias Kuznik, Troy Gagnon, Krishan Sharma, Alex Emery, Mathew Katajamaki, Andrew Flemming, Sahil Walia, Chris Mackenzie, Anmol Pooni, Harry Bhullar, Tyson Sigurdson and Jason Maan.

The coaching staff includes co-head coaches Navin Chand and Kevin Phillips, along with Adam Dobie (offensive coach) and Nikolai Karpan (defensive coach).
