Does your child love books? Do you want to inspire a lasting love of reading in your youngster?

Both the Ladner Pioneer Library and the Tsawwassen Library invite you to register your preschool-aged children in their Picture Book Clubs.

Choose either the Thursday, March 5 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. session at the Ladner Pioneer Library or the Friday, March 6 from 1 to 2 p.m. session at the Tsawwassen Library.

You and your child will join us to read a picture book, sing songs and rhymes and complete fun activities and crafts based on that story. Space is limited.

Online registration is required, so visit the events page at www.fvrl.ca to register.

Can’t make the Picture Book Club? Introduce kids to the love of books and language with Storytime. Children and caregivers will enjoy interactive stories, songs, rhymes and more. Storytime prepares children between the ages of two to six to learn to read.

This program is Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Ladner Pioneer Library and on Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. and Fridays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Tsawwassen Library. In addition, the Ladner Pioneer Library offers Pyjama Storytime from 6:30 to 7 p.m.

For babies 23 months and younger, check out Babytime. Help your baby develop speech and language skills – enjoy bouncing, singing, rhyming and stories.  Babytime is a fun, social bonding activity for babies and caregivers.

Both the Ladner Pioneer Library and the George Mackie Library offer Babytime on Thursdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. and the Tsawwassen Library on Mondays from 10:30 to 11 a.m.

For more programs at your local Delta Library, check the events page at www.fvrl.ca.
