BC Wildlife Federation (BCWF) is drawing its early bird winner this Friday at noon at Bass Pro Shops in Tsawwassen.

The winner of the BCWF Conservation Lottery will walk away with a Remington 700 CDL stainless rifle, Vortex Diamond Back scope, ONZ Game Keeper mount and RedHead lockable case, valued at more than $1,800.

The Conservation Lottery supports programs that protects BC’s wildlife, fish and restoring of wetlands. Deadline to buy tickets for the Early Bird is Thursday, Feb. 27 at midnight. Tickets can be purchased online at: www.conservationlottery.bcwf.bc.ca.

“When you buy a ticket, you don’t just get a chance to win an amazing prize, but your purchase helps us directly make an impact for fish and wildlife in communities across BC, including such things as: connecting a child to nature and the outdoors, repairing a degraded watershed, and building capacity among the next generation of stewards,” said Neil Fletcher, Manager of Conservation Stewardship Programs

For more than 64 years the BCWF has been the province’s leading conservation organization with more than 43,000 volunteer members protecting and enhancing BC’s fish, wildlife and habitat. Thousands have participated in BCWF Wetland Education resulting in more than 155 hectors of wetlands restored.
