3D Basketball Academy held its annual Christmas Gala at the Seymour Golf and Country Club on Dec. 14 with 100 guests in attendance, including athletes and their families as well as coaching staff.

3D Basketball Academy held its annual Christmas Gala at the Seymour Golf and Country Club on Dec. 14 with 100 guests in attendance, including athletes and their families as well as coaching staff.

The event featured guest speaker Alex Devlin, who played basketball for Canada in the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, the first Olympic Games held in Canada.

Athletic awards for most improved and most dedicated players were presented, along with the 3D Performance 3D Achievement awards going to athletes at the highest levels of sport and commitment.

The gala also featured a silent auction and 50/50 draw.

3D Basketball Academy was formed in 1999 on the North Shore and now has a membership of more than 1,000 athletes. 3dbasketball.net
