North Vancouver is poised to have another spot in the coming months for grabbing a craft brew. La Cerveceria Astilleros is planning a summer 2020 opening in the Lower Lonsdale area.

Moving into a space on Esplanade East in the Shipyards District, this new brewery hopes to bring their "Latin-inspired" drinks and food to the area soon.

Their name, La Cerveceria Astilleros, translates from Spanish to "The Shipyards Brewery."

With permits in hand, renovations to the space have been going on for about the last two months.

La Cerveceria Astilleros is moving into North Vancouver's emerging brewery district, joining neighbours like Beere Brewing, House of Funk, and Green Leaf.

The forthcoming brewery hasn't shared too much info about their venture so far, but we will keep you updated as we learn more.

In the meantime, you can keep tabs on their progress via Instagram to find out when you can head there yourself and open a tab to try their brews and eats.

La Cerveceria Astilleros will be located at 226 Esplanade East in North Vancouver.
