Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives (RCRG) is celebrating Seniors Week with the launch of their new caregiving program.

RCRG released two videos introducing their new Richmond Family Friend Caregiver Hub – a program with multiple resources for caregivers – as part of the city’s Seniors Week celebrations in both the English and Chinese languages.

The hub was established with the help of the Government of B.C., United Way and Family Caregivers of B.C. and offers resources, information and support for anyone providing voluntary and unpaid care to an older adult living in Richmond.

Caregivers can now access services including individual coaching, peer support and information and referral assistance through the program.

Their new website along with videos focusing on mindfulness and meditation, art therapy and how to set up virtual meetings will be posted in late June.
